Children's Da 2006

Children's Day Thumbnail Celebrating our Sunday School year with a party! On the second Sunday in June each year, we recognize teachers and the progress of all kids. It's a great celebration and a way to remember that we are a community of joy. Join us! Everyone welcome.

Community Meal

Community Meal One of our missions is feeding people, just as Jesus said. Several times a year we join with other Congregational Churches here to provide a meal for anyone who is hungry. Volunteers prepare and serve the meal and we all share God's care together.

Christmas Pageant

Festival of Choirs

(6.5 MB) Each year, choirs gathers from all over Norwich and some surrounding towns to share a night of music and inspiration.

The finale of the festival is a song in which all the choir members join under the leadership of a distinguished musician. This year choirs from United, Lee Memorial U.M.C., First Baptist, Preston City Congregational, Sts. Peter & Paul R.C., Sacred Heart R.C., Christ Church Episcopal, Central Baptist and Taftville Congregational attended and sang under the direction of the Rev. Stan White . The Choir Festival is organized by our choir director/organist, Maggie Schumacher.

An Introduction to Sunday Morning
